Starting in Christchurch city from your agreed time and pick up location and to enjoy this magnificent road trip its best to leave around 9am.

DAY ONE:

Stopping for mountain views. Driving through the Canterbury plans and wide-open farmland with thousands and cows and sheep.

This road trip with stops at Lake Tekapo will take up to 6 hours

First stop will be for a takeaway coffee.

Township of Geraldine.

Our first stop is the local cheese factory where the cheese is made on the premises and then if you want Barkers Juices/Chutneys all locally made.

Fairlie. Population area 950

There is the opportunity for photos of our rolling hills and open pastures. Next stop the famous Fairlie Baker renowned for there savoury pies and there special butter pastry pies like as fresh Salmon and Bacon, the best

mince and cheese and great coffees.

Take it as a takeaway and lets visit the Alpine Alpaca farm and shop or visit the Silverstream Clydesdale Horse farm.

Lake Tekapo

Off to Lake Tekapo and the Church of the Good Shepherd (NZ most photographed church), the brass dog statue and the Teguise hydro lake. Lake Tekapo

Population 690

Destination Aoraki Mount Cook Village. (Population 200)

Lake Pukaki and the salmon farm shop and incredible views of Aoraki Mount Cook.

One the way we stop at the highest Lavender Farm in NZ.

And on we go around the lake to our destination for the day and your night stay. Aoraki Mount Cook New Zealand’s

highest mountain.

Its best to arrange and book your own accommodation as everyone requires something different.

at your luxury accommodation Mt Cook Lakeside Retreat.

Day 2

Aoraki Mount Cook Village to Queenstown.

Why not start the day with a Hooker Valley Track for the fittest groups or the Tasman Glacier boat excursion before we leave to 5 hours road trip.

Maybe after a helicopter ride or a pre-arranged, off course.

Stopping at Omarama and the drive over the Lindis Pass.

The amazing mountain view of the South Alps will great us while our journey takes us past Omarama and view the clay cliffs by the road.

Cromwell.

The Lindis pass and onwards to our next stop.

Lets stop at Cromwell the stone fruit centre of the South Island with its ideal growing land from grapes to all stone fruits. Where do we buy these, Mrs Jones Fruit Stall that has everything even real berry fruit ice creams.

45 minutes we arrive in Queenstown to your central location.

This is where we say goodbye and drop you to your Queenstown Central accommodation.

End of day 2.
